For a reliable, safe and profitable solution, WEG offers a heat balance study with a complete analysis of thermodynamic efficiency, electricity consumption and self-sufficiency, aiming at maximizing and selling the surplus energy. Another expertise is WEG’s application engineering, which integrates several devices into a single solution in the application of thermal power stations.

Turbinas a Vapor

São utilizados na geração de energia elétrica de até 150 MW com vapor operando em pressão de entrada de até 140 bar e temperatura de até 540 °C.

Com construções modulares garantem maior flexibilidade de instalação em cada tipo de processo industrial, sempre considerando a praticidade, segurança, eficiência e principalmente economia.

Turbogenerators

The turbogenerators are developed for applications in Thermal Power Plants with a wide power range up to 150 MW, designed based on WEG’s experience in the supply and sizing of steam or gas turbogenerators.

Gearboxes

The turbo gearbox that is coupled to a 4-pole turbine generator is available up to 60 MW. The SuperTurbo line has excellent gear coupling without requiring a flexible coupling, which results in higher safety and easier assembly.

Synchronous Alternators

Specially designed according to the specific characteristics of each application. Their use in generator sets guarantees the supply of energy independent of the power grid, which makes WEG alternators an excellent solution for emergencies or non-stop operation. Power rating up to 20 MVA.
