Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How are the costs of TFM? Do the hardware/sensors have a cost and is there also a monthly fee for access to the platform?

The Transformer Industrial Scan hardware is purchased separately by the client and the sensors are already included. TFM has an annual subscription, for access to the platform, backup of the data monitored by the edge (hardware) and asset management.

Does my maintenance team always need to be online on the platform to check if the transformers are healthy? Or is there a tool that filters out transformers that are bad or about to go bad?

This is not necessary, TFM has app-based notification services for all generated events, as well as a tool that quantifies the criticality and health of all monitored assets.

This device is applicable to any type of transformer? Can it be applied to transformers from other manufacturers?

TFM can be applied in oil and dry transformers, of various applications and from any manufacturer.

Is it possible to integrate the WEG Transformer Fleet Management solution with other monitoring systems?

Yes, the solution relies on the Exchange tool, where the raw data and diagnostics provided by the platform can be collected by external services.

What does the energy efficiency law say for electric motors?
